Before leaving for the Chin Hills, I began teaching a masters-level course on Labyrinth Prayer in the largest Protestant seminary in Yangon. The first hour was an overview of labyrinth history, with an emphasis on labyrinth history in Asia. Although most of the students had never walked a labyrinth before, they were eager to try during the second hour. They walked slowly, took their time as they prayed in the center, and returned to the entrance/exit with deep focus.
